When the Council tax bands were created in 1991 a lot of mistakes were made.  We can carry out an investigation to find out which band your property should be in.
Council tax bills depend on your home's band, allocated based on the property's 1991 value. Yet these were done by “second gear valuations” meaning estate agents drove past your home and estimated the value.

We will thoroughly investigate your property to find out which band it should be in. If we find that you are in too high a band then we will collect all the evidence and challenge your local Valuation Office. If we get your bill lowered then we could save you hundreds of pounds every year.

Once we have established that your band will be lowered, we can either, supply you with a comprehensive report and claim pack, which would easily allow you to contact the council and claim back all the overpaid tax. Alternatively we can run the claim for you, however, for this service we will deduct 20% of any redress we recover.
